Tenor saxophonist John Coltrane's 1957 session for Blue Note produced all the material for this legendary album, 'Blue Train'. When asked in a 1960 radio interview which was his favourite of all the albums he recorded up to that point, Coltrane was quick to reply, "Blue Train."
